    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.23.14/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.17.25/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div>Masonicare at Mystic - Senior Living Community<br><br><p>Per Diem</p><p>The Recreation Therapy Aide will develop and implement a variety of recreation programs and services to residents that are socially, physically and cognitively stimulating. &nbsp;</p><p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p><p>1. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Create and implement activity plans for residents, in the way of small groups, special events and entertainment. Motivates residents for participation in either planned groups or on a one-to-one basis. Programs should be modified accordingly to meet the individual needs of residents.&nbsp;</p><p>2. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Encourage resident participation and provide escort if necessary.&nbsp;</p><p>3. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Attends meetings as required. Participate in educational programs and in-services as mandated.&nbsp;</p><p>4. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Evening and weekend hours possible.&nbsp;</p><p>5. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Plan and/or accompany residents on out trips.</p><p>6. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Understands and follows universal precautions an MSDS books.&nbsp;</p><p>7. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Review evaluation on new residents completed by Memory Care Resource Coordinator.&nbsp;</p><p>8. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Complete dementia training routinely and, as needed, to foster a supportive dining experience for our memory care residents.</p><p>9. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; All other duties as assigned.</p><p>&nbsp;Minimum Qualifications:</p><p>Education: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;High School Diploma or Equivalent</p><p>Other: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Pushing/pulling wheelchairs, climbing ladder (i.e.: decorating), using push carts for decorations or supplies, extensive standing/walking.
