Available shift schedules include day shifts. If you accept employment with Ansible, you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers.</p><p>Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing Federal customers with solutions in many arenas. Our customers face wide-ranging challenges in the fields of national security, health care, and information technology. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers’ success as if it is their own.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Accurately identify patients using two identifiers</li><li>Perform venipuncture using proper technique and order of draw</li><li>Collect blood specimens ensuring adequate volume and minimal hemolysis</li><li>Label specimens correctly with required identifiers, date/time, and initials</li><li>Process specimens (aliquoting, storage, prep for transport) following DOT/OSHA guidelines</li><li>Accession specimens and perform basic computer/lab system tasks</li><li>Recognize and report adverse patient reactions immediately</li><li>Follow infection control, safety, and patient care standards</li><li>Interact professionally with elderly, ill, and difficult patients</li><li>Report patient safety incidents and labeling errors per VA policy</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in a hospital or clinical lab setting</li><li>Experience with specimen collection, accessioning, and preparation</li><li>Comfortable working with elderly and difficult patient populations</li><li>Basic typing and computer skills</li><li>Fluent in English (read, write, speak)</li><li>Phlebotomy certification recommended but not required<br>(NPA, ASPT, ASCP, or equivalent)</li><li>No sponsorship available</li></ul><p><strong>All candidates must be able to:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift</li>\n\t<li>Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist</li>\n\t<li>Lift up to 20 lbs</li>\n\t<li>Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance</li>\n\t<li>Push/pull with 30 lbs of force</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. </strong></p>",
