You should expect to work closely with experienced professionals who will help integrate you into Geosyntec’s culture as you advance to this next stage of your career.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We operate under a sell-manage-do culture, and so we expect that you’d work on challenging technical projects while leveraging your existing knowledge and experience to help Geosyntec expand its current practices and capabilities through business development and client management. You may also be asked to take on project management responsibilities, along with staff management and development, and mentoring tasks. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Some of the key responsibilities for this client-facing position include:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Implementation of a personal business development plan to expand services and revenue with new and existing clients, in coordination with companywide business development plans.</li>\n <li>Serve in the capacity of a Client Account Manager on selected accounts deemed critical to the water market or in support of the Mining HGA’s CDI program.</li>\n <li>Active participation in professional societies, conferences, and meetings that will increase the visibility of the firm to potential clients and recruits. Make contributions to the profession that will result in individual recognition as an industry leader.</li>\n <li>Project management and oversight of technical issues/work products; budgeting and budget management; adherence to schedule, quality, health, safety protocols; client satisfaction; and profitability.</li>\n <li>Recruiting, managing, and mentoring junior staff and mid-career engineers and scientists.</li>\n <li>Reviewing and leading the preparation of technical documents, drawings, specifications, and proposals.</li>\n <li>Preparing for and participating in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties.</li>\n <li>At times, the position may also include fieldwork including contractor oversight and process troubleshooting tasks.</li>\n <li>Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.  </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education and Licensure</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, chemical, or environmental preferred). (required)</li>\n <li>Advanced degree (same as above). (preferred)</li>\n <li>Professional registration (i.e., P.E.). (required)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills, Experience and Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 8 years (10+ years preferred) of progressive experience in the consulting industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience in industrial and municipal clients with water supply, water treatment, and water re-use projects. (required)</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience in mining projects (required)</li>\n <li>Demonstrated working knowledge of Federal and State regulations. (required)</li>\n <li>Experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams. (required)</li>\n <li>Demonstrated success in the development and management of clients and growing a practice that sustains a group of professional junior staff. (required)</li>\n <li>Excellent leadership and detail-orientation skills. (required)</li>\n <li>Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. (required)</li>\n <li>Strong oral and technical writing skills. (required)</li>\n <li>Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required.  </li>\n <li>Valid U.S driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This opportunity will be posted for at least five days. Below are the potential compensation ranges that we in good faith believe are applicable for this role at the time of this posting and are only applicable for jobs to be performed in the specified location(s) below. The typical base salary range for this position is just one component of Geosyntec’s total compensation package for employees.
