As an SBA-certified HUBZone, Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), we deliver quality, professional services to support the missions and strategic business goals of our clients.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Title: Instrumentation and Control (I&amp;C) Engineer</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location: Aiken, SC </span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary:</span> The<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> I&amp;C Engineer</span> provides support engineering services to assigned SRR Engineering Teams. Engineering support services include engineering analysis, walk downs, design development and generation of design output documents including but not limited to: P&amp;IDs; Control Logics; Loop Diagrams; Instrument Indices; Setpoint Lists; Instrument and Control Valve Specifications; DCS and PLC Design; Instrument Location and Installation Design; Panel Layouts; and Vendor Document Review.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Individual at times will be required to travel off Site to interface with vendors, fabricators and other Engineering organizations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Engineering services will be provided using SRR processes and procedures. Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRR.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engineering support services include engineering analysis, walk downs, design development and generation of design output documents including but not limited to:\n<ul>\n<li>P&amp;IDs</li>\n<li>Control Logics</li>\n<li>Loop Diagrams</li>\n<li>Instrument Indices</li>\n<li>Setpoint Lists</li>\n<li>Instrument and Control Valve Specifications</li>\n<li>DCS and PLC Design</li>\n<li>Instrument Location and Installation Design</li>\n<li>Panel Layouts</li>\n<li>Vendor Document Review</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidate must demonstrate five (5) years design experience in the nuclear or process chemical industry.</li>\n<li>Candidate must demonstrate design experience with PLCs and distributed control systems.</li>\n<li>Candidate demonstrating experience in 2D Microstation Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) is preferred.</li>\n<li>Candidate must have the ability to walk down systems in the field.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>BS Degree in one of the following disciplines: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, I&amp;C Engineering</li>\n<li>Currently registered as a Professional Engineer in one of the above disciplines.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Hours: </span>A 40-hour work week is scheduled. SRS utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/l0s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes SRR holidays.
