    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Cummings Electrical is currently seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. This person will be part of a production driven team, performing electrical installations and troubleshooting for a variety of commercial or industrial projects.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>General Essential Functions <em>(The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing of all responsibilities, duties and/or skills required. Additional responsibilities may also be assigned.)</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee, perform and direct electrical installations, repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment, while following Cummings' and customer policies, procedures, safety rules and federal and state laws.</li>\n <li>Must be able to wire, terminate and understand electrical drawings and work independently or as an integrated team to complete complex critical electrical tie-ins and outages.</li>\n <li>Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.</li>\n <li>Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers.</li>\n <li>Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.</li>\n <li>Must be able to complete assigned tasks in a reasonable amount of time determined by Project Supervisor.</li>\n <li>Participate in and provide support for team initiatives in the areas of Safety, Quality, and Productivity.</li>\n <li>Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards at all times.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Basic Job Requirements</p>\n<ul>\n <li>4+ years’ experience as a commercial electrician (Journeyman)</li>\n <li>Texas State Electrical License (Journeyman Card)</li>\n <li>Valid State Driver’s License</li>\n <li>Reliable transportation</li>\n <li>Good attendance and punctuality required</li>\n <li>Must be self-motivated and willing to work from descriptions and blue prints</li>\n <li>Experience and proficiency running electrical conduit with precision expertise</li>\n <li>Must have layout capabilities</li>\n <li>Must have a good attitude and be willing to work with other craftsmen</li>\n <li>Must be hard working and have the drive and determination to complete the task at hand</li>\n <li>Must be dependable and willing to complete the project at hand from start to finish</li>\n <li>Valid Drivers License with a Clean Driving Record</li>\n <li>Reliable Transportation to and from work</li>\n <li>Must Pass Drug and Background Checks</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Essential Skills Include</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent organization and time management with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks.</li>\n <li>Troubleshooting, Problem Solving, Planning, Equipment Maintenance, Basic Safety, Supply Management, Technical Understanding, Attention to Detail, Quality Focus, Customer Service, Thoroughness</li>\n</ul>\n<p>All applicants will be subject to a background check and drug screen.</p>",
