          "text": "<p>MS NOW is looking for an experienced Segment Producer for the new weekend show <em>Connect with Jacob Soboroff - </em>airing 10AM – 1PM on Saturday and Sunday with Jacob Soboroff.</p><p><u>This position is represented by the Writers Guild of America East.</u></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Research, report and write daily segments</li><li>Write and suggest interview questions for each segment</li><li>Determine video and sound for assigned segments</li><li>Communicate daily story development with senior producer</li><li>Be in control room during airing of live segment</li><li>Take part in editorial planning</li><li>Work on content for digital platforms, social media and MS NOW’s DTC products</li><li>Pitch story ideas</li></ul>",

          "text": "<ul><li>Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience</li><li>Strong writing skills and knowledge of American politics</li><li>Strong research and reporting skills</li><li>At least 5 years of experience in some form of journalism required (i.e. cable or network news, website, newspaper)</li><li>Candidate should be able to deal with daily script deadline pressure</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Possess ability to develop story ideas, research, and plan segments</li><li>Experience with field tape production including scripting, shooting, and producing taped pieces.</li><li>Ability to \"book\" guests, and work with graphics and video elements</li><li>Exceptional editorial skills: Ability to recognize stories with high potential for provocative, compelling television</li><li>Knowledge of current events, politics, and pop culture</li><li>Wide-range reader of news, including op-eds</li><li>Proficient in both tape and desktop editing</li><li>Edit room experience and breaking news experience is preferred</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Job Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be willing to work in New York, NY&#xa0;</li><li>Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States</li><li>Must be willing to work weekends</li><li>Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, under tight deadline pressure, including breaking news</li></ul><p>This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.&#xa0;</p><p>Salary range: $93,000 - $110,000.&#xa0;</p>",
