This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations, implementing proactive safety programs, and supporting operational teams in maintaining safe and efficient work environments.</p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will have experience in general industry and manufacturing settings, with a strong understanding of industrial hazards including explosive hazards, combustible dust, wastewater operations, machine guarding, and overall regulatory compliance.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and manage site safety initiatives to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards</li>\n <li>Conduct daily safety inspections, audits, and toolbox talks</li>\n <li>Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and training programs</li>\n <li>Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; complete reports and recommend corrective actions</li>\n <li>Partner with operations, maintenance, contractors, and leadership teams to promote safe work practices</li>\n <li>Support emergency response planning and hazard assessments</li>\n <li>Maintain safety documentation, records, and compliance reporting</li>\n <li>Foster a culture where safety is a core value and every employee goes home safely each day</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 5 - 7 years of safety experience in general industry, manufacturing, industrial, or processing environments</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of OSHA general industry standards and industrial safety regulations</li>\n <li>Experience with explosive hazards, combustible dust, machine guarding, and wastewater operations preferred</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suit</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>HazTek Safety Management is a full-service, objective safety partner, founded in 1997.
