    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Proximity Learning is Looking for Academic Tutors </span></p>\r\n<p> </p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">For this position, we are seeking individuals that are loving, enthusiastic, reliable, respectful, and patient while working with children. Candidates must be able to multitask and show initiative. Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional manner, are required.</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">What You Will Be Doing:</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Tutoring Elementary &amp; HS level students</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Teaching math, grammar, and reading using Khan Academy, Moby Max and iReady software.  Training is available </span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Supervising students as an authority figure or “managing” student groups</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Record-keeping and documentation of students' attendance and academic performance.</span></p>\r\n<p> </p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Basic requirements:</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">COVID-19 vaccination</span></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">A driver’s license with reliable transportation</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">be at least 20 years of age.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">A high school diploma or equivalent (preference for candidates with at least two years of study at an institution of higher education)</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Fluency in written and spoken English</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">At least one year of youth camp experience, early childhood education, or related experience in roles such as:</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">College Tutor or TA</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">coach or mentor.</span></li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Camp counselor or youth activity leader</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p> </p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Starting pay range: $30/hr. (part time and full time roles available)</span></p>\r\n<p> </p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">A candidate’s hiring is contingent upon the successful completion and </span><span style=\"font-size: 15px; text-decoration: underline;\">passing of a national criminal background check</span><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\"> (as required by school districts and departments of education) that may include the following: fingerprinting, employment verification, and verification of education. Additionally, selected candidates must comply with all required CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19 safety measures.</span></p>",
