Our 16-bed, voluntary-only residential treatment facility is designed around a low-volume, high-quality care model, allowing providers the time and support needed to deliver compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care.</p>\n\n<p>We are seeking experienced and dedicated Psychiatric Providers to join our interdisciplinary team in a 24/7/365 behavioral health environment focused on crisis stabilization, recovery, and culturally responsive care.</p>\n\n<p>Schedule</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Full-time, 40 hours per week</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>4x10 schedule</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>One position works Monday&ndash;Thursday</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>One position works Friday&ndash;Monday</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>Position Summary</p>\n\n<p>The Psychiatric Provider is responsible for conducting psychiatric evaluations, determining medical necessity for treatment, prescribing and managing psychotropic medications, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support patient stabilization and recovery.</p>\n\n<p>This role reviews referrals and makes final determinations regarding patient admission to the facility. The Psychiatric Provider works closely with the Medical Director, nursing staff, and clinical team members to ensure safe, effective, and culturally responsive care.</p>\n\n<p>Essential Functions</p>\n\n<p>Psychiatric Evaluation and Treatment</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and intake screenings</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Determine medical necessity for admission, continued stay, or discharge</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Provide crisis stabilization services for individuals experiencing acute psychiatric or behavioral health crises</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>Medication Management</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychotropic medications, including antipsychotics, antidepressants, anxiolytics, and mood stabilizers</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Ensure safe, evidence-based medication practices in accordance with state and federal regulations</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Monitor medication effectiveness, side effects, and adherence</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure accurate medication administration and documentation</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>Clinical Decision-Making and Care Coordination</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Serve as the primary clinical decision-maker for psychiatric care within scope of practice</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Collaborate with the Medical Director, nursing staff, therapists, and other clinical team members to support positive patient outcomes</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, case reviews, and care coordination activities</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Provide clinical guidance during urgent or emergent situations as appropriate</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>Admission and Referral Determinations</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Review referrals and clinical documentation to determine patient eligibility and appropriateness for admission</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Make including RCW, WAC, HIPAA, and 42 CFR Part 2</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement (QA/PI) activities</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Support audits, chart reviews, and corrective action planning as needed</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>Cultural Competence</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Provide culturally responsive psychiatric care that respects the values, traditions, and needs of Tribal communities and diverse patient populations</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Collaborate with Tribal representatives and JSS leadership to integrate culturally informed practices into patient Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA-C)</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Current, unrestricted Washington State licensure</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Current DEA registration</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>Experience</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Minimum of two (2) years
