Responsibilities include providing volume assessments, confirming locates, verifying line and invert of pipe, checking as-builts, and conducting quality control throughout the day.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Your duties will include:</span></em></p>\n<p><span><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Operate and maintain Topcon GNSS and Robotic total station surveying equipment.</li>\n<li>Provide field support for survey personnel, ensuring accuracy and quality of field layout and data collection.</li>\n<li>Prepare and manage field data files for construction projects using AutoDesk Civil 3D and other relevant software.</li>\n<li>Process and analyze survey data for volume assessments, QA/QC, and as-built documentation.</li>\n<li>Create and update CAD drawings based on field data and project requirements.</li>\n<li>Inspect, maintain, update and calibrate pipe lasers, laser levels, GPS receivers, GPS antennas, display screens, and data collectors.</li>\n<li>Install, calibrate and maintain machine control system electrical components. <br></li>\n<li>Troubleshoot issues related to machine control systems and ensure proper operation in the field.</li>\n<li>Provide technical support and training to machine operators relating to Topcon 3DMC machine control system software.</li>\n<li>Assist with managing and maintaining survey equipment, ensuring timely repairs, calibrations, and availability.</li>\n<li>Maintain logs for survey asset usage, maintenance, and calibration records.</li>\n<li>Prepare and submit technician reports and other relevant information based on the work completed, ensuring accurate documentation for each task.</li>\n<li>Work closely with field crews, project managers, and estimating teams to ensure seamless communication and project flow.</li>\n<li>Assist with resolving technical issues that arise during surveying or data processing.</li>\n<li>Adhere to WorkSafeBC and Site safety regulations.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">You bring the following qualifications, technical and interpersonal skills: </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em>Preferred Qualifications:</em></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A technical trade program in surveying or civil engineering.</li>\n<li>2+ years of experience in land surveying, civil construction, or a related field.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in AutoDesk Civil 3D, Topcon GNSS/Robotic Total Station systems using Pocket 3D software and Topcon Machine control systems using 3DMC software.</li>\n<li>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in outdoor conditions.</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of survey QA/QC processes and volume assessments.</li>\n<li>Valid driver license for travel between job sites. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em>Preferred Technical Skills:</em></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficient in heavy construction and engineering surveying using terrestrial and satellite-based positioning systems.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of civil construction, including utilities, earthworks, and road building.</li>\n<li>Proficient in using AutoDesk Civil 3D, Topcon Pocket 3D and Microsoft Office for data preparation and processing.</li>\n<li>Experience with the installation, calibration, and repair of machine control systems on heavy machinery.</li>\n<li>Ability to perform inspections, testing, diagnostics, and repairs on electronic surveying equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em>Interpersonal Skills:</em></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong customer service orientation, with
