    "description": "<p>Revpanda Group is looking for <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Finance Specialist</span> to join our international team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, experience working with external auditors, and the ability to manage financial operations across multiple entities within the group. This role requires excellent communication skills in both <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Latvian and English</span>, as well as familiarity with crypto-related transactions.</p>\n<p>You’ll play a key part in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance with local and international standards, and smooth coordination between our group companies.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial statements in QuickBooks.</li>\n<li>Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS, company policies, and Latvian accounting standards.</li>\n<li>Manage accounts payable and receivable processes when required.</li>\n<li>Maintain and monitor internal controls, ensuring compliance with company budgeting rules and Latvian legislation; suggest process improvements where needed.</li>\n<li>Prepare and provide documentation for annual audits in Malta and Latvia, and liaise directly with external auditors.</li>\n<li>Communicate with local accountants in Latvia and group-level finance teams in English, ensuring alignment on all accounting and reporting matters.</li>\n<li>Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis when required.</li>\n<li>Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies when needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.</li>\n<li>3+ years of professional experience in accounting or financial reporting, preferably within an international or group environment.</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (Latvian – must) and tax regulations (advantage).</li>\n<li>Proven experience in audit preparation and communication with external auditors.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar tolls (1C, Tilde Jumis, or SAP), Microsoft Excel.</li>\n<li>Business profficiency in Latvian and English – required for effective collaboration with local accountants, auditors, and international teams.</li>\n<li>Experience in international companies, preferably within iGaming or fintech.</li>\n<li>Understanding of cryptocurrency accounting (ability to track crypto transactions, identify potential issues with received payments, and know how to investigate or retrieve missing transactions).</li>\n<li>Analytical mindset, attention to detail, proactive approach and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we offer:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Friendly and supportive colleagues</li>\n<li>Health insurance after the probation period ends</li>\n<li>Diverse opportunities for professional growth and career development</li>\n<li>Possibility to take part in international conferences and online courses</li>\n<li>Extensive benefits package</li>\n<li>Birthday day off</li>\n<li>\"Refer a friend\" bonus</li>\n<li>Possibility to work remotely (hybrid work model offered after probation period)</li>\n<li>Corporate events</li>\n<li>Modern, ergonomic, and pet-friendly office in the city center (Riga, Latvia)</li>\n</ul>",
