    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The College of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences at National Louis University is pleased to announce its search for an <strong>Applied Behavior Analysis </strong>full-time faculty<strong> </strong>member to join our rapidly-expanding program. This is a ten-month, full-time Assistant/Associate Professor position with assigned professional responsibilities for teaching, scholarship, and service (Rank commensurate with experience). </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are looking for a collaborative, dedicated, student-centered colleague who will help serve our students.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Availability: </strong></p>\n<p>The candidate would need to work at both Chicago and Lisle campuses.</p>\n<h2>Essential Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Teach graduate level courses in Basic and Applied Behavior Analysis, delivered on campus, with additional weekly on-line modules</li>\n <li>Contribute to curriculum design and course revision based on student performance and new developments in research and practice</li>\n <li>Advise and supervise student thesis research</li>\n <li>Engage in our mentorship program, which includes preparing students to maintain academic success, pass the BCBA exam, and achieve their professional goals</li>\n <li>Contribute to curricular and programmatic assessment to promote continuous improvement of student outcomes</li>\n <li>Assist with, or initiate, the development of additional programmatic opportunities</li>\n <li>Engage with the campus community and broader behavior analytic community</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Doctoral degree (PhD, PsyD, EdD) in Applied Behavior Analysis or closely related field and completion of a behavior analytic thesis or dissertation; ABD may be considered</li>\n <li>Board Certified Behavior Analyst (<strong>BCBA</strong>) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst- Doctoral (<strong>BCBA-D</strong>)</li>\n <li>Record of effective teaching in graduate behavior analysis courses</li>\n <li>Record of advising graduate-level student research</li>\n <li>Experience in the professional practice of behavior analysis, especially from diverse practice backgrounds</li>\n <li>Experience in providing supervision and training in accordance with BACB Field Experience Requirements</li>\n <li>Experience in using technology in teaching and assessment</li>\n <li>Record of engagement in professional organizations/associations</li>\n <li>Professionalism in, and demonstrated commitment to, working with diverse populations</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>NLU Inclusion Statement:</strong></p>\n<p>National Louis University is deeply committed to serving its community, advancing access and equity, and ensuring that all individuals are welcomed and valued.
