    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>Dewberry is seeking a <strong>Field Engineer</strong> with construction related project experience in the water and wastewater sector supporting projects Nationwide. Preferred candidates will have experience maintaining a project documentation system using Microsoft Office, SharePoint, or similar construction-oriented filing and management software. Must have experience with document management of construction submittal packages, specification packages, QA\\QC documents, materials test reports, Quality Audits, preparation of summary reports. Field Inspection experience is also preferred. </p>\n<p><strong><em>*Please note, remote work is not permitted for this role. This is a </em></strong><strong><em>non‑full‑time</em></strong><strong><em>, deployment‑based</em></strong><strong><em> on-call position across the United States. Team members are deployed to impacted sites as needed and may travel frequently on short notice. Our commitment to excellence stems from our personal integrity and from other defining attributes, which we call “Dewberry at Work,” that have inspired our employees to be successful for more than a half-century.</em> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinates and collaborates with Quality Assurance and Quality Control staff, Project Professional Engineer, Response Managers and EPA representatives as necessary to complete assignments. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversees QA/QC on projects in the field, records data, certifies projects are constructed per design requirements </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepares QA/QC reports for field activities </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Reviews daily assignment schedules and ensures inspection staff are prepared and assigned to cover required inspection and materials testing duties. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepares, assembles, and distributes pre-activity meeting package/documents to construction team. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Attends meetings to record meeting minutes. Updates all participants with meeting results and changed information. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure quality documents are submitted, logged, and reviewed daily and then posted for access by various project participants. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Skills & Required Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree in Construction Engineering or related field </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>2+ years of relevant experience </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficiency with document management software and construction management software Microsoft Office products, SharePoint, and other Project and Construction Management programs. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent communications and client relations skills </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have the ability to work as a team player </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>*At this time, Dewberry will not sponsor a new applicant for work authorization. </p>\n<p>*This position is covered by the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act of 1965 (SCA). </p>\n<p>*Dewberry is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
