Paid time off is earned according to the local policy and increases with the length of employment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Click HERE to discover how we empower team members to grow, thrive, and advance in their careers.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>WE LOVE OUR WORK.</h2>\n<p><strong><u>What does River City Casino & Hotel have to offer? </u></strong> </p>\n<p>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Day 1 medical, dental, & vision benefits!</li>\n <li>Uber benefit for nearby metro stops.</li>\n <li>Recognition programs with cash rewards, gift cards, & more.</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement, Lindenwood University Discounts, & Diversity Scholarship for Team Member’s children.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>As an <strong>Restaurant Bartender</strong>, you will:</p>\n<p><em>Pay: $8.50 per hour plus tips (Tip Avg. $150 per shift)| Shift: Varies between 2:00 pm- 10:00 pm</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.</li>\n <li>Provides wine, liquor, and related bar service to guests and cocktail servers at assigned stations.</li>\n <li>Mixes drinks according to prescribed recipes. </li>\n <li>Keeps station stocked with all liquor, glasses, and accessories necessary. </li>\n <li>Maintains integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities.</li>\n <li>Provides fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to guests.</li>\n <li>Maintains cleanliness of designated area.</li>\n <li>Ices and fills all non-alcoholic drinks for servers.</li>\n <li>Provides work direction to assigned bar attendants.</li>\n <li>Opens and closes bar according to established procedures.</li>\n <li>Responsible for maintaining and balancing a cash drawer, Credit charges, and servers’ food transactions, including tips.</li>\n <li>Resolves service issues according to established guidelines.</li>\n <li>Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.</li>\n <li>Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>BRING US YOUR BEST.</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Applicant must be <strong>21 years of age</strong> or older. </li>\n <li>Minimum one (1) year of experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Must have strong written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.</li>\n <li>Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.</li>\n <li>Must have cash handling experience.</li>\n <li>Ability to share or divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects, or assignments.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.</li>\n <li>Able to effectively work independently and as part of a team.</li>\n <li>Ability to work at a fast pace with a sense of urgency.</li>\n <li>Must have strong attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain poise when receiving multiple guest requests.</li>\n <li>Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.</li>\n <li>Ability to effectively and efficiently move around bar area.</li>\n <li>Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as business needs dictate.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>STAY IN THE GAME.
