Such experiences are particularly important for students who have not found success on the traditional path of text-based classroom education.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Position: Teacher </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Provide an engaging K-5 learning environment conducive to student success</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Actively build strong relationships with parents and families that foster trust, collaboration, and communication</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Differentiate instruction to reach all learners</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Establish and maintain a classroom atmosphere condusive to learning that is engaging and safe</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Plan, organize, and deliver appropriate lessons for assigned area(s) of responsibility, and submit lesson plans as requested</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Maintain direct supervision at all times to ensure student safety</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Direct and redirect students in an appropriate manner to maintain student safety</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Remain onsite with children from the ages of 5-12, from the time of arrival until dismissal </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Be able to follow schedules as it relates to enrichment activities (e.g. science and culture projects) </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Provide <span> </span>on-site training and redirection to Teacher Assistants as needed</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Work with other site staff in meeting student needs, and making the experience fun, innovative, and a learning process</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Be able to follow the chain of command as outlined in the staff handbook</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Participate in weekly and or monthly meetings with other site staff</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Create individualized behavior modification programs as needed</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Examine student assessment data to inform decision-making and to guide and improve instruction</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Create quarterly review of student achievement to review with staff and parents</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Available to answer parents’ questions and concerns about their child</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>QUALIFICATIONS:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">FL Teacher Certificate </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">An ability to exercise patience and support during students’ learning process</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Clear level two background screening</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Successfully complete the mandatory 40-hour Introductory Child-Care Training <span> </span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">1-2 years of teaching experience </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Ability to prioritize and handle multiple task effectively with little to no instruction</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Proven experience motivating and educating students to high levels of achievement</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Clear communication skills, strong organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Model of pro-active integrity<span>  </span>and ethics, </span>Trustwhorthy, timely and reliable</li>\n</ul>",
