Whether it’s hiking, fishing, golfing, snowmobiling, hockey, camping, or spending time with family at one of Canada’s largest recreation centres, there’s always something to do outside of work. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>For trades talent looking for stability, opportunity, community, and adventure, Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo offers a place where hard work is rewarded, and where life outside of work truly matters!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Install insulation materials, such as foam, fiberglass, or mineral wool, to prevent heat transfer, reduce energy consumption, or control sound.</li>\n <li>Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas.</li>\n <li>Secure insulation in place using appropriate fasteners and adhesives.</li>\n <li>Regularly inspect insulation for signs of wear, damage, or degradation.</li>\n <li>Replace or repair insulation that has become compromised.</li>\n <li>Recommend and implement improvements or upgrades to enhance insulation performance.</li>\n <li>Consult with clients or project managers to determine insulation needs based on factors like temperature requirements, acoustic considerations, or electrical insulation needs.</li>\n <li>Provide recommendations on the most suitable insulation materials and techniques for different environments.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with construction or maintenance teams to ensure proper installation according to specifications.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Journeyman Insulator or equivalent hours required</li>\n <li>IRATA Level 1 required, or willingness to obtain</li>\n <li>CSTS/OSSA or OSSA BSO or OSSA CSO</li>\n <li>CSE/M (Confined Space and Monitor and Entry)</li>\n <li>ESC Fall Protection an asset</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>The strength of Tacten lies in its outstanding people.
