    "description_html": "A Southland Holdings company is currently accepting resumes for an experienced <b>Jack and Bore Welder </b>for our large heavy civil project located in <strong>Cape Coral</strong><b>, FL</b>.<br><br>As a Welder you will be responsible for various welding activities on active construction sites.  The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years of experience welding non-pressurized pip (36\" to 60\") using a Miller Trial Boss stick welding with the ability to also run flux core dual shield mig.  All applicants should hold an active D1.1 6G certification.<br><br>When not welding, employees will assist with general boring operations including preparing the bore pit, moving pipe, and other labor duties such as spiking, anchoring, and surfacing.<br><br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Adhere to and promote safe work practices as determined by the company</li><li>Plan out work activities with Operations team to develop best means and methods, including developing safety action plans or other emergency plans as needed.</li><li>Ensures team has proper resources for the timely completion of work, including laborer, tools, equipment and material.</li><li>Responsible for ensuring compliance with all company and customer safety policies and procedures</li><li>Complete written forms and reports as required.</li><li>Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, hearing protection, safety-toe boots or safety glasses when required.</li></ul><strong>Physical Demands</strong><br>Essential job duties include climbing ladders into and out of earthen pits/trenches' walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, stooping, squatting, lifting up to 50 pounds, full range of motion and use of arms and legs, working around heavy equipment and active construction zones.<br> <p>All qualified applicants please apply online or at our office. </p><p>Office Location:<br>5411 W Tyson Ave.<br>Tampa, FL 33611</p><p><br><strong>Full-Time Employee Benefits – Competitive pay, Health/Dental/Vision, 401K Match.
