    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Summary of Essential Functions</strong></p><ul><li>This individual will provide application system support and be responsible for collaborating with systems business/clinical personnel and serve as technical resources to identify, analyze, prioritize, and resolve system needs; use cases, workflow, and metrics to configure, maintain and monitor system use.</li><li>Provide suggestions for potential application modifications, enhancements or business process changes as appropriate.</li><li>This position requires extensive knowledge of operational processes and workflows common in the healthcare setting in addition to advanced computer skills.</li><li>This individual must have broad knowledge of application integration and data flow, as well as extensive experience in the support of EMR, healthcare and/or business applications.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Educational Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>University degree in Healthcare, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related subject preferred, not required. Work experience may be considered as substitute for degree</li><li>Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Licensure and Certifications</strong></p><ul><li>Must obtain and keep current all certifications required to support assigned applications</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in healthcare, business or operation setting or functional and/or systems analysis and reporting experience.</li><li>Knowledge and skills necessary to provide comprehensive support for systems/applications.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of health care operations, regulatory requirements, and the application of information technology to aid and improve health care functions.</li><li>Skilled in communicating positively with end users, other analysts, management, and customers.</li><li>Experience managing projects with proven ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues lists and manage a project plan to completion.</li><li>Demonstrates exceptional ability to research, analyze and thoroughly understand workflows of end users, and use this knowledge to configure systems which improve processes and add efficiencies.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Primarily works the day shift tour of duty; may be asked to work additional hours as needed, including weekends.</li><li>Will be required to take rotating call to support the applications</li><li>May be expected to lift over twenty-five (25) pounds.</li><li>Ability to distinguish between numbers and symbols.</li><li>Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity with substantial movement of wrist and/or fingers. Walking and climbing to accomplish tasks.</li><li>Corrected vision and hearing to normal or near normal range.</li><li>Extended periods of sitting and/or walking depending on specific duties.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Builds, tests, and debugs application(s) to ensure the system meets end user requirements, involving end users in the process and testing when appropriate.</li><li>Ability to deliver software solutions through the entire system development lifecycle (requirements, design, build, test, deploy, and support).</li><li>Develop and maintain functional specifications and operational process flows or other necessary documentation for approved system enhancements or modifications.</li><li>Provide technical resource to identify, analyze, prioritize, and resolve system needs</li><li>Able to use cases, work flows and metrics to configure, maintain and monitor system uses</li><li>Provides suggestions for potential application modifications, enhancements or business process changes as appropriate as well as advising business and technical counterparts regarding current system functionality</li><li>Produce and provide analysis through reports, dashboards, and analytic tools to management</li><li>Adheres to organizational policies and procedures and documents change control and system problems according to departmental procedures.</li><li>Able to lead multiple concurrent projects, support multiple application modules, and manage user expectations</li><li>Serves as a mentor and resource to other analysts, educates and coaches other team members</li><li>Manages projects to completion according to department standards with little or no guidance.</li><li>Collaborates with operational leaders, user groups and key stakeholders to review and prioritize system enhancements and upgrades</li><li>Collaborates with technical resources on projects, and systems maintenance to ensure the needs of the business are met</li><li>Strong organizational skills in managing multiple priorities</li><li>Identifies and resolves complex issues.</li><li>Works to achieve goals and meet departmental and organizational KPIs</li><li>Works independently and uses critical thinking skills to develop and support clinical and business software applications</li><li>Demonstrates initiative, creativity, and flexibility in problem resolution</li><li>Demonstrates commitment to excellent customer service.</li><li>Adheres to departmental policies and processes for ticket management and SLAs</li><li>Performs other tasks/responsibilities as necessary.</li></ul>",
