Opened in 1954 and designed by Morris Lapidus, it was the most luxurious hotel on Miami Beach, and is thought to be the most significant building of Lapidus' career.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>We are looking for an experienced hands on Assistant Director of Security to joing TEAMBLEAU! You will be responsible for assisting the Director of Security in providing a safe and secure hotel environment for all guests and employees through effective management of security personnel.   </p>\n<p> </p>\n<strong><u>Examples of Duties</u><u>, includes but is not limited to the following</u>:</strong>\n<strong> </strong>\n<li> Investigate accidents, thefts, property loss, and unlawful activities.</li>\n<li> Develop and maintain the Hotel Safety Program.</li>\n<li> Implement checks to ensure all reports and logs have been properly completed.</li>\n<li> Schedule labor force and assign work for efficient use of equipment and personnel.</li>\n<li> Ensure compliance by all security personnel with Company and departmental rules and procedures.</li>\n<li> Recommend, manage, and monitor work of staff as well as hiring, communicating, coaching, and building relationships.  </li>\n<li> Maintain a working relationship with local, municipal, and governmental law enforcement agencies, insurance carriers, etc.</li>\n<li> Assume Director of Security responsibilities during absence.</li>\n<li> Perform other related duties as assigned.      </li>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Well organized and demonstrated strong problem solving skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to develop strong professional relationships with vendors, guests and employees. </li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff. </li>\n <li>Must be able to multi-task, work independently and maintain a positive attitude within a very busy environment. </li>\n <li>High school or equivalent education required.  Heavy law enforcement, security, Resort Hospitality background preferred.</li>\n <li>Minimum of five years hospitality security management experience. Three years supervisory experience required.</li>\n</ul>",
