Conducting comprehensive analyses of operational processes and performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and recommend data-driven improvements
Developing and applying robust mathematical and statistical models to simulate potential scenarios, assess risks, and optimize resource allocation
Preparing detailed analytical reports and presentations that communicate actionable insights and support strategic decision-making
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement process enhancements and operational solutions aligned with contract requirements
Monitoring key performance indicators to validate analytical models and ensure sustained operational effectiveness

Requirements
10 or more years of experience in an operations research analyst role
One or more years of experience must be with communication systems, networks, or technologies
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering discipline, computer science or IT discipline, or technical discipline
Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement mathematical models and statistical analyses to support operational decision-making and resource optimization
Proficient in applying quantitative methods, such as simulation, sensitivity analysis, and risk assessment, to evaluate operational performance and identify improvement opportunities
Skilled in the use of operations research tools and software (e.g., Excel, MATLAB, and optimization packages) to analyze complex data sets and drive strategic recommendations
Possess an Active DoD Secret security clearance
Desired Skills
Familiarity with advanced analytical tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R) to automate data processing and enhance model precision
Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and effectively communicating technical findings to senior management
Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma, to streamline operations and boost efficiency
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a proven track record in optimizing operational processes
