Job Description: The Bureau of Budget Administration within the Division of Finance is seeking to hire an Accountant II to perform duties as an assistant director. The Division of Finance has central responsibility and authority for policy analysis, program development, performance tracking and improvement, financial management, resource maximization and technical assistance. Finance helps to ensure that programs and administrative operations have the information, analysis, funding and technical capacity to deliver critical services effectively and meet DOHMH's objectives. Duties will include but not be limited to: Supervising budget analysts in monitoring the PS and OTPS CTL/State and grant budget and calculating for analysis, evaluation, and projection; Overseeing the application, implementation, modification, and closing out process of grants for assigned divisions; Serving as DOHMH’s liaison between programs and federal, state, and private funding source; Assisting in the preparation, review, and implementation of financial plans; Assisting in ad hoc analyses and inquiries to requests from senior management and/ or outside entities, including City Hall, City Council and Office of Management and Budget.
