font-size: 14px;\">Research tax laws</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Gather information and explain options for best practice to clients</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Prepare quarterly and annual tax compliance</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Prepare federal and state income tax</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Ensure that tax returns are filed in accordance with tax authorities</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Assist in IRS and state audits and act as a liaison between government auditors, tax consultants, and AP/AR Managers</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Work with different state agencies to set up accounts</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Work as a liaison with Sales department and tax consultants for wording of how projects are taxed</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Work as a liaison with AR Manager and tax consultants to ensure invoices are taxed and coded correctly</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Respond to various tax notices from states</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Work on various tax projects that arise (this is mainly to encompass projects we need to start now and could come up in the future)</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong><u>WHAT YOU HAVE</u></strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Degree in accounting, finance, or similar</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">3-7 years proven experience as a tax accountant, tax analyst, or similar</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Strong knowledge of accounting laws and procedures</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Computer literacy in accounting software</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Good numerical skills</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">A keen eye for details</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Outstanding analytical skills</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Sales tax systems knowledge, specifically Avalara</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;
