You will be evaluated on a 30/60/90 day basis to assess your knowledge and job performance. After the 90-days the interns who meet performance expectations will be hired as an HVAC Technician Class I.</p>\n<p>Install, service, repair heating, ventilating, air conditioning systems, and related environmental-control systems. Utilize knowledge of heating and refrigeration theory, and pipefitting.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>This role is based out of the Greenville, SC office and serves the surrounding metro area.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions and Responsibilities: </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>This posting covers HVAC Service Technician Intern Duties and are based on the candidate’s qualifications below:</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Intern Service Technician</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Changing Filters</li>\n <li>Cleaning Coils, Basic Maintenance</li>\n <li>Check and clean drains</li>\n <li>Hook up gauges to the system</li>\n <li>Provide excellent customer service</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of computer and tablets.</li>\n <li>Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.</li>\n <li>Ability to work well in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Strong adaptability skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Required Experience, Certifications, and Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.</li>\n <li>Trade/Technical School certification or degree preferred.</li>\n <li>Valid Driver’s License.</li>\n <li>EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p>Must be able to climb ladders, lift and carry 50 or more pounds, distinguish colors for electrical work and tolerate confined spaces. Work will involve heights and seasonal temperature extremes.
