    "description": "<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Nexthop Systems Inc. is seeking an electrical design validation engineer to validate next-generation high-capacity networking systems for emerging AI infrastructures. In this role, you’ll combine technical expertise with innovative problem-solving to plan &amp; execute all the qualifications of cutting-edge system designs that meet the demands of advanced data centers and telecom environments.  </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">What You’ll Do</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Develop detailed test plans to characterize and validate systems, subassemblies or components as per industry or internal specifications by working closely with HW design (electrical, thermal, power, optics etc.)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Support HW bring up, and contract manufacturing NPIE with any electrical qualifications, debugging and test script support</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Work closely with the cross-functional teams to co-ordinate test cost, schedule and address cross-functional dependencies e.g. HW allocation, SW readiness.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Procure test equipment and resources to complete scheduled tests in a timely manner</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Analyze test results, find product design issues, log bugs using tracking software, report realtime status with adequate details, recommend corrective action, drive resolution and verify fixes </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Review, edit, and release test reports for the products tested</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Evaluate technical readiness prior to release to manufacturing</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Learn and improve test cost, consistency, and efficiency proactively </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">What You Bring</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering.  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">5+ years of experience in Electrical design validation for telecom or data center product development.  </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Technical Skills:  </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Solid understanding of networking product design &amp; operation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Strong knowledge of hardware environmental stress testing through voltage and temperature margin using automated test scripts using Python</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Experience with configuring networking products using OS &amp; traffic generator (IXIA, Smartbits etc) to run different types of traffic and protocols to stress critical components, optical modules, interfaces, data and control paths </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Ability to automate test setup to control devices under test, environmental test chambers, test equipment (traffic generator, scope etc.)  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Familiarity with signal &amp; power integrity, reliability and quality</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Hands-on experience with HW bring up e.g.  I2C, PCIe, SMBUS, SERDES, &amp; SOC</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Working knowledge of various optics types OSFP, QSFP etc </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Hands-On Expertise: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Conducting Electrical &amp; Environmental stress tests using automated script and environmental chambers</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Writing test script to control test equipments </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Configuring networking products using standalone diagnostic and OS</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Debugging issues found during testing using high speed scope, &amp; logic analyzer</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Testing various optical modules &amp;  liquid cool products is a plus</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;
