Job Description: Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid level checks. Diagnose and repair complex engine issues. Utilize diagnostic tools effectively. Understand and work with basic electrical systems within diesel engines. Perform minor component replacements. Mount and balance tires, repair punctures, and manage inventory. Handle large, heavy tires and perform on-site tire repairs. Adhere to safety procedures while working on heavy machinery and tires. Provide excellent customer service. Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in routine maintenance and complex engine diagnostics. Strong understanding of safety procedures. Experience with diagnostic tools and basic electrical systems. Basic mechanical skills and physical fitness. Heavy equipment operation and problem-solving. Teamwork and adaptability. Certification: Basic Automotive Tire Service (ATS) and Certified Earthmover Tire Service (ETS) from TIA. Safety: Experience with PPE, proper lifting techniques, and adherence to safety protocols. Working Conditions: On-site role in Richardson, requiring frequent fieldwork and exposure to outdoor port environments. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical ability to climb equipment, lift moderate weights, and work in variable weather conditions.
