The Pharmacy Department has over 500 staff members who provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services as well as outpatient services via two cancer centers, outpatient pharmacies and ambulatory care clinics.</p>\n<p>The Drug Use Policy (DUP) Pharmacist Coordinator plays a key role in shaping medication policies, optimizing drug therapies, and ensuring safe and effective patient care at Cedars-Sinai.&nbsp; The DUP pharmacist is involved in developing content for Pharmacy &amp; Therapeutics Committee; initiatives may include evaluating new drugs for formulary, developing evidence-based guidelines in conjunction with medical staff, and strategic planning of policies/processes for improving efficiency.&nbsp; Additionally, the DUP team serves as gatekeepers for high cost/risk medications and drug information resource for medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff on complex therapeutic issues.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p>This position has a flexible hybrid opportunity (up to 50% remote) and inpatient staffing (1 weekend per month) requirement.</p>\n<p><span>#LI-RD1</span></p>",
