We have close relationships with financial advisors and family attorneys which enable us to provide a full array of services to our clients under one roof. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Job</span></em></p>\n<p>The Payroll Lead is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with payroll clients and staff, developing company-wide payroll policies and procedures, and ensuring that pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What do we need you to do?</span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with Partners in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans.</li>\n<li>Oversee procedures and processes and manage inquiries and requests related to preparation and distribution of payroll.</li>\n<li>Process payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.</li>\n<li>Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.</li>\n<li>Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.</li>\n<li>Identify and recommend updates to payroll software, systems, and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).</li>\n<li>Conduct work planning, estimation, and prioritization to optimize performance of team.</li>\n<li>Manage effective internal/external client relationships.</li>\n<li>Manage Payroll Specialists and assist with departmental trainings. </li>\n<li>Uphold organization policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations are followed.</li>\n<li>Work closely with human resources to lead team with integrity and establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications for this position:</span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of dedicated experience in payroll processing or a similar role.</li>\n<li>Proven expertise with QuickBooks Desktop for payroll calculation, processing, and reporting.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience with cloud-based payroll (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, Paychex Flex, Gusto, etc.).</li>\n<li>Proven ability to plan and manage operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity.</li>\n<li>Must inspire others and maintain a culture of transparency, integrity, and honesty in all aspects of your role.</li>\n<li>Creative problem-solving and negotiating skills.</li>\n<li>Proven ability to develop high-performing teams.<br></li>\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What's in it for you?</span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li>401(k) match</li>\n<li>100% Company-Paid health, dental, vision insurance</li>\n<li>Flexible schedule</li>\n<li>Life Insurance</li>\n<li>Generous PTO<br></li>\n<li>Growing organization that is looking for people who want to do better for themselves, their teammates and their clients.
