The Team has the opportunity to work on unique and leading-edge projects with a local focus to make a global difference.</p>\n<p>Arcadis’ <strong>Edmonton, AB&nbsp;</strong>office is searching for a <strong>Junior Civil Engineering Technologist</strong> to join its growing team.</p>\n<p>This role sits within our global business area Places.&nbsp;We work with our clients around the world to create, support, and enhance smart, safe and sustainable places where people live, work, learn and thrive. People and communities thrive when the spaces in which they live, work, move and play are designed and managed in a way that best meets their needs.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Role accountabilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Duties include design and drafting for the preparation of civil works drawings for land development projects including; subdivisions, commercial and industrial sites as well as public sector capital infrastructure projects including roads, transit, deep utilities, and streetscape projects</li>\n <li>Assist CAD Team with projects from developing plans, section details, schedules, and quantity take-offs</li>\n <li>Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure drawing accuracy and consistency</li>\n <li>Completion of tasks received from Engineers</li>\n <li>Ability to resolve and/or communicate any technical issues that may arise</li>\n <li>Coordination of sub-consultants and municipal approvals</li>\n <li>Preparation of detailed construction drawings and details</li>\n <li>The provision of quality control on drafting, presentations, and design for any given drawing package</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Diploma in Civil Technology or Engineering Design and Drafting is essential</li>\n <li>3+ years of related experience</li>\n <li>Solid knowledge of AutoCAD</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational, computer and writing skills</li>\n <li>Experience with Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel and Word</li>\n <li>Experience with drafting and assisting on tender documents, technical specifications, schedule of quantities, and construction cost estimates would be an asset</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal skills/positive attitude and ability to work in a team atmosphere is required</li>\n <li>Proficient in Civil 3D (2020 and up)</li>\n <li>Registered or ability to become registered with ASET is required</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Why Arcadis?</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
