It is also a <strong>great working environment</strong> for our staff as we truly value and appreciate each member of our team!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Summary of the Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA):</strong> </p>\n<p>Provides quality rehabilitation care to residents under the direct supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist as outlined in the plan of care in accordance with laws, regulations, and Facility guidelines. </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements ofCertified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA):</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) License </li>\n <li>Current CPR </li>\n <li>At least one (1) experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.<p>https://info.flclearinghouse.com/</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties & Responsibilities of theCertified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA):</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li> Implement and execute established patient treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.</li>\n <li>Communicate with patience, families, referring physicians, and other members of the team.</li>\n <li> Provide timely written documentation per facility and department requirements.</li>\n <li> Develop and enhance clinical and professional skills through knowledge and professional association.</li>\n <li> Provide timely written documentation as required.</li>\n <li> Support and participate in department operations and development.</li>\n <li> Report any changes in patient status or needs to supervising therapist on a timely basis.</li>\n <li> Prepare and submit patient charges accurately to access appropriate billing information.</li>\n <li> Coordinate treatment goals with other team members.</li>\n</ul>",
