In this role, you will focus on the following:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Partner with business leaders to provide insights that drive strategic decision-making, improve financial performance, and support organizational growth.</li>\n <li>Own business unit management reporting including detailed profit and loss reporting and analysis</li>\n <li>Key point person for the calculation of ROI related to engineering investment projects</li>\n <li>Prepare actuals tracking, variance analysis, and forecasting for major functional areas including headcount / resource management and business metric reporting</li>\n <li>Own and deliver the annual operating plan for major functional areas within the organization</li>\n <li>Partner with the other FP&A team members to develop critical presentations for quarterly business reviews</li>\n <li>Improve financial reporting processes, tools, and dashboards</li>\n <li>Ensure data integrity across financial systems</li>\n <li>Collaborate with Accounting to ensure alignment between reporting and planning</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or related</li>\n <li>Technology industry experience and semiconductor industry preferred</li>\n <li>Strong financial modeling and analytical skills</li>\n <li>Advanced proficiency in Excel</li>\n <li>Experience with FP&A tools, e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, Hyperion</li>\n <li>Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to simplify complex data</li>\n <li>Business acumen and strategic thinking</li>\n <li>High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities</li>\n <li>CPA preferred</li>\n <li>Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related + 9 years of experience or Masters + 7 years of experience</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<p>MaxLinear has a Total Compensation philosophy which includes base salary and annual discretionary bonus eligibility and many positions also include stock-based compensation.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>MaxLinear's good faith estimate starting base salary range is:  $115,000 to $135,000 Annually</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We offer competitive benefits designed to support employee health, welfare, and retirement and some highlights are:  health care benefits, 401k savings plan, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), and paid time off.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The actual starting base salary will be determined by the match to certain role-related criteria such as educational degree(s) or equivalent, relevant work experience, skillset needed for the role, and geographic location; this is not an all-inclusive list as some roles may require unique skills or experience.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to, and will not be discriminated against based on race, sex, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status.</p>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p>MaxLinear is a global, NASDAQ-traded company (MXL) where the entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well.
