The Manager directs, coordinates and supervises all clinical and team staff . &nbsp;This position serves the Orlando Hospice House. Communicates, as appropriate, with staff physicians, referral sources and clients. &nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Wingdings;\">&Oslash;</span> Assures adequate supply of qualified staff. Assists with recruiting, hiring and orienting of all team staff. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Wingdings;\">&Oslash;</span> Directs all Hospice House Interdisciplinary Team meetings. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Wingdings;\">&Oslash;</span> Coordinates and manages the team&rsquo;s daily workload. Ensures appropriate assignments of referrals for all services. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Wingdings;\">&Oslash;</span> Ensures that the documentation required for reimbursement of care is completed on a timely basis and in compliance with state and federal regulations. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Wingdings;\">&Oslash;</span> Performs duties necessary to maintain quality team standards. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Wingdings;\">&Oslash;</span> Counsels staff appropriately and in a timely fashion concerning areas of deficiency as well as areas of excellence. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Wingdings;\">&Oslash;</span> Conducts employee performance evaluations. Assists with development of new job standards as needed. Reviews and updates current job standards annually. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Wingdings;\">&Oslash;</span> Consistently facilitates positive interpersonal relations among staff. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Wingdings;\">&Oslash;</span> Participates in the development of the team budget. Monitors the team budget and justifies variances.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Wingdings;\">&Oslash;</span> Keeps abreast of Hospice and management issues. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Wingdings;\">&Oslash;</span> Assures service satisfaction through patient/family visits and other measures, as appropriate. Investigates and resolves all team complaints. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Wingdings;\">&Oslash;</span> Submits written reports outlining team activities within specified time frames as requested by supervisor and for the Strategic Plan. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Wingdings;\">&Oslash;</span> Assists the Executive Manager Hospice Houses with special projects and other duties as deemed necessary.&nbsp;</p><p><strong><ins>Qualifications&nbsp;</ins></strong></p><p>1. Florida RN license required; Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s Degree in nursing, or CHPN preferred.&nbsp;</p><p>2. Three years of nursing experience required; two years of nursing supervisory experience required; two years of hospice experience or one y<br>year of long-term care experience preferred.&nbsp;</p><p>3. Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.&nbsp;</p><p>4. Demonstrated ability to work independently.&nbsp;</p><p>5. Ability to work flexible hours.&nbsp;</p><p>6.
