CABOT CITRUS FARMS Located in the central-west region of Florida, aptly known as the Nature Coast, Cabot Citrus Farms is set across 1,200 acres of pristine natural beauty. The landscape is marked by dramatic elevation changes, rolling hills, sandy soil, and a canopy of sand pines, palmetto trees, and century-old moss-covered oaks. The destination features 56 holes of golf, including two regulation-length courses, Karoo and Roost, a 9-hole course called The Squeeze, and an 11-hole par-3 course named The Wedge. In addition to golf, the property offers luxury accommodations, real estate opportunities, elevated dining, a full range of off-course adventures, and various outdoor trails, embodying a reimagined vision for Florida golf and active wellness. Position Overview As the Assistant Manager – Grange Hall (PM), you will support the evening food and beverage operations of the restaurant, helping ensure a polished and seamless dining experience during the resort’s busiest service periods. This role works closely with the management team to uphold service standards, lead the team through service, and ensure that guests receive attentive and personalized hospitality. The Assistant Manager is a visible floor leader who helps maintain the pace and energy of service while supporting team members and resolving guest needs with professionalism. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences. Key Responsibilities Support the daily operation of Grange Hall during evening service periods, ensuring a refined and welcoming dining experience consistent with luxury resort standards. Stay informed on food, beverage, and hospitality trends that enhance the guest experience. Work closely with the Culinary team to ensure strong coordination between kitchen and service during each shift. Engage with guests throughout service, building personal connections and ensuring a warm and memorable dining experience. Support staffing needs and assist with shift coverage and team deployment to ensure smooth service operations. Assist with training and development of team members, reinforcing wine and cocktail knowledge, menu expertise, and luxury service standards. Uphold and reinforce service standards, professionalism, and attention to detail during all service periods. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, supporting communication and cooperation across departments. Work closely with Culinary, Outside Operations, Events, and other Food & Beverage outlets to support seamless resort operations. Assist with ordering, inventory management, and operational controls to support efficient outlet operations. Support training and coaching of team members on menu knowledge, beverage offerings, and service techniques. Ensure opening procedures, service readiness, and operational organization are completed prior to service. Help ensure invoices, deliveries, and purchasing documentation are handled in accordance with resort procedures. Ensure Grange Hall maintains a clean, organized, and welcoming environment while promoting a safe workplace. Support management in ensuring operations align with company policies, service standards, and safety expectations. Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality from a recognized University or College is a plus. 1 – 2 years of leadership experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a luxury resort or hotel setting. Strong culinary knowledge/interest is a plus. Basic wine knowledge is a plus. Must be a creative and effective leader and a team player possessing a high degree of professionalism; sound human resources, communication, interpersonal, and administrative skills (including computer literacy); ambition; drive; energy; and determination. Proficiency with computer software systems, POS, Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment. Working Conditions Able to work long hours, be flexible, and work well under pressure. Ability to spend long hours moving around, walking, sitting, standing. Occasional ascending or descending stairs and ramps. Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting. Exerting up to 50+ pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently or constantly lift, carry, push, or otherwise move objects.
