Excellence :  Performs job functions well and accurately. Ethics :  Performs job with integrity and with a “whatever-it-takes” work ethic. Leadership :  Values relationships with vendors and customers.  Positively represents the company with all. Summary of Responsibilities and Competencies Safety Participation :  Understand and follow the Safety Program, safety rules and protocols, of the facility and specific to work areas.  Actively participate in any applicable training, as well as collaborate with others and express understanding and interpretation of safety practices.  Generally act safe, use caution and protect self. Consciousness :  At all times, remain aware of the safety of self and others.  Remain aware that safety is in the best interest of all and, therefore, is a critical component of all teamwork initiatives and job functions. PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) :  Always wear required PPE per work area requirements when in the specific work area.  Obey all signage directing the use of PPE. 2.    Team Collaboration :  Communicate and work jointly with others to achieve best-in-class results through aid and support which allows for achievements over and above what only one worker could do. Flexibility :  Perform any other work assignments as directed by a supervisor or manager. Show commitment to coworkers and the Company by supporting the entire operation when requested. Respect :  Self-manage own behavior and act professionally with colleagues so to maintain a highly desirable culture in which to work. 3.    Excellence Job Assignment Core Accountabilities Shipping Clerk Interfaces with trucking personnel and schedules accurate release and delivery of pipe. Ensures proper documentation of orders with MTRs, CTRs, and tally sheets as needed. General Worker - Yard Forklift Operator  Operates large lifts and moves pipe accurately and safely throughout the yard. With precision and without damaging materials or property, loads/unloads trucks, pipe racks, heat treat and threading entry and exit points. Lead Yard Operator  Performs the role of the Bundler & Forklift Driver. Additionally directs the work of other Bundlers and Forklift Operators to perform the logistical movements and tracking / tallying necessary for accuracy and optimized loading/unloading. Yard Foreman Directly supervises / manages Bundlers, Forklift Operators, and Leads and ensures their productivity and accuracy meets expectations. As needed, can and does perform the role of these positions. Other : Temporarily assume the duties and responsibilities of other roles, as directed by management.  All safety and operational parameters of the assumed role apply. Proficiency & Productivity :  Maintains a consistent high level of productivity and a consistent high level of accurate movements. 4 .    Ethics Compliance :   Comply with rules and regulations on the job, including but not limited to, signage, handbook rules and policies, and generally acting with good conduct. Work Ethic :  Demonstrate pride and work safely but also diligently to achieve results in a timely manner.  Take pride in a job-well-done and a good product being delivered to our customers.  Maintain work area(s) cleanliness. Timeliness :  Use time in the most productive way.  Clock in and out appropriately and according to rules; act conscientiously with time and not wastefully. 5.    Leadership Lead by Example :  Act in the best interest of the company and with respect to the organization's mission. Qualifications and Essential Functions Experience Required: Experience in an industrial environment using related tools and equipment.  Six (6)+ months of training & close supervision in position. For foreman : Six (6)+ months of experience in supervisory role. Education/Experience (REQUIRED): High School diploma or GED equivalent strongly preferred; Certification a plus. Skills/Abilities: Ability to work overtime in order to meet the needs of the operation. Acute visual ability to observe product nonconformance.  Visual ability consisting of strong close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.  Perform intense manual labor with long work hours.  Ability to stand for a long period of time; bend, stoop, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, and move around work area.  Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel and reach with arms.  Ability to lift and carry up to 55 lbs occasionally, and 20 lbs regularly.  Demonstrates skill in operating equipment.  Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to read a minimum of Jaeger 2 or equivalent type and size letter at a distance of not less than 12 inches on a standard Jaeger test chart. Ability to utilize basic computer skills, (word, excel, type, email, etc.) MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and mass; and interpret bar graphs.  Aptitude to calculate and use the following instruments – Scale in 1/8”, 1/16”, 1/32” and 1/64” increments – 12” to 72” long; Protractor Head, Diameter Tape – 100’s increments, Micrometers, Diameter Tape – 1/64” increments, 6” Vernier Caliper, 50’ Tapes, Ring Gauges, Squares, Levels, Line Levels, Various Tape Measures, Conversion Charts (Decimal to Fraction, Fraction to Decimal), Tri-Square, String Line, Feeler Gauges, Overhead Scale, Dial Indicators, Calipers COMMUNICATION: Ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with employees via conversation or in writing. Ability to read and interpret product specifications such as work orders and travelers. Ability to effectively present information to management. Ability to effectively speak before groups and/or customers. Ability to speak, read, and write English for the purpose of product specification interpretation and training and safety materials comprehension. TRAVEL: Negligible ENVIRONMENTAL: Ability to work most effectively in an industrial workshop field setting while also capable of managing tools, inventory, and equipment as part of the daily work activities and management.  Wet and humid conditions / subject to outdoor weather conditions such as heat.  Occasional exposure to fumes and airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. Moderate to high noise. Must be able to work morning, evening, & night shifts, including rotating shifts as applicable.
