This role ensures compliance with institutional, state, and programmatic accreditation standards while delivering high‑quality didactic, laboratory, and clinical education that prepares graduates for professional practice in the electrophysiology field.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The Program Director provides academic leadership, oversees faculty and curriculum, maintains clinical partnerships, supports student success, and serves as the primary liaison with accrediting bodies, advisory committees, and clinical affiliates.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Program Leadership &amp; Administration</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide day‑to‑day leadership and oversight of the EP Program, ensuring alignment with SUI’s academic mission and outcomes.</li>\n<li>Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate program goals, policies, and procedures.</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all applicable institutional policies, state regulations, and programmatic accreditation standards.</li>\n<li>Prepare, submit, and maintain all required accreditation reports, self‑studies, and documentation.</li>\n<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for accrediting agencies, regulatory bodies, and clinical partners.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Curriculum &amp; Instruction</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee development, implementation, and revision of the EP curriculum to ensure it reflects current industry standards and scope of practice.<br></li>\n<li>Ensure effective integration of didactic, laboratory, and clinical learning experiences.<br></li>\n<li>Monitor course delivery to ensure learning outcomes and competencies are met.<br></li>\n<li>Participate in instruction as appropriate, consistent with qualifications and accreditation requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Faculty &amp; Staff Oversight</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recruit, orient, mentor, and evaluate program faculty and instructional staff.<br></li>\n<li>Ensure faculty credentials and ongoing professional development meet accreditation and institutional standards.<br></li>\n<li>Foster collaboration and consistent communication among faculty, lab, and clinical instructors.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Clinical Education &amp; Success</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor student academic progress, clinical performance, and professional behavior.<br></li>\n<li>Address student concerns, performance issues, and remediation plans when necessary.<br></li>\n<li>Participate in admissions, orientation, advising, and retention initiatives as assigned.<br></li>\n<li>Ensure accurate documentation of student records, competencies, and program completion requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Advisory Committee &amp; Industry Engagement</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and participate in EP Program Advisory Committee meetings.<br></li>\n<li>Engage industry and clinical partners to ensure program relevance, workforce alignment, and continuous improvement.<br></li>\n<li>Use advisory and employer feedback to support curriculum and program enhancements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Current professional registration/certification in electrophysiology or a related cardiovascular specialty aligned with teaching responsibilities. <br></li>\n<li>Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related healthcare field (Master’s degree preferred).<br></li>\n<li>Documented experience in electrophysiology clinical practice.<br></li>\n<li>Prior teaching, leadership, or educational administration experience in a healthcare or allied health setting.<br></li>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge of accreditation standards and clinical education requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prior experience as a Program Director, Assistant Program Director, or Clinical Coordinator.<br></li>\n<li>Experience with CAAHEP/JRC‑CVT or similar programmatic accreditation processes.<br></li>\n<li>Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.<br></li>\n<li>Experience working with adult learners in academic and clinical environments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core Competencies</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Academic leadership and program management<br></li>\n<li>Accreditation and regulatory compliance<br></li>\n<li>Faculty development and supervision<br></li>\n<li>Clinical education oversight<br></li>\n<li>Student mentorship and evaluation<br></li>\n<li>Professional and interdepartmental communication</li>\n</ul>",
