This role is critical to the long-term sustainability and growth of City Academy of Atlanta and supports scholarships, operations, capital improvements, and program expansion.</p><p>Key responsibilities of the <strong>Director of Development </strong>include but are not limited to:<br>\n<br>\n<strong>Fundraising &amp; Revenue Generation</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and execute a comprehensive annual development strategy aligned with CAA’s mission and growth goals</li><li>Cultivate and solicit individual, major, corporate, and foundation donors</li><li>Lead all grant research, writing, submission, and reporting</li><li>Plan and manage fundraising campaigns and events</li><li>Build and maintain a donor pipeline and long-term stewardship strategy</li></ul><p><strong>Donor Relations &amp; Stewardship</strong></p><ul><li>Strengthen relationships with donors, families, alumni, and community partners</li><li>Design communication strategies including donor updates, appeals, recognition, and impact reporting</li><li>Manage donor database and acknowledgment systems</li></ul><p><strong>Strategic Planning &amp; School Collaboration</strong></p><ul><li>Partner with school leadership to align fundraising with operational priorities</li><li>Forecast financial development opportunities</li><li>Represent CAA at community and outreach events</li></ul><p><strong>Communications &amp; Marketing Support</strong></p><ul><li>Assist with mission-driven messaging across fundraising, website, and reporting materials</li><li>Ensure transparency and accountability in donor communications</li></ul><p><strong>Leadership &amp; Team Management</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and mentor development staff, volunteers, or committees</li><li>Report regularly on fundraising results and progress to the City Academy Board</li><li>Model Christ-centered professionalism and integrity</li></ul>",
