    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p><strong>Job Description</strong></p><p><span style='font-size:15px;line-height:115%;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;' data-pasted=\"true\">The Manufacturing Operations Intern will support day-to-day production and operational activities within the manufacturing environment. This role offers hands-on experience in process improvement, production planning, quality control, and cross-functional collaboration. The intern will work closely with engineering, operations, and quality teams to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement initiatives</span></p><p><strong>Shift: 1st shift (7:00 am - 4:00 pm)&nbsp;</strong>Monday - Friday w/ <em>overtime as required</em></p><p><strong>Primary Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>Assist in monitoring and analyzing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and productivity</li><li>Support production planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization efforts</li><li>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen events)</li><li>Help collect and analyze operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities</li><li>Assist with documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions</li><li>Support quality assurance efforts, including inspections, audits, and root cause analysis</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, and maintenance</li><li>Participate in safety initiatives and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations</li><li>Assist in troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions</li><li>Place and follow up purchasing orders for Production needs</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm solutions and contribute to project meetings</li></ul><p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or other related fields.&nbsp;</li><li>Basic understanding of engineering principles and concepts&nbsp;</li><li><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) </p></div></li><li><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><p>Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)&nbsp;</p></div></li><li><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills&nbsp;</p></div></li><li><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><p>Effective communication and teamwork skills&nbsp;</p></div></li><li><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><p>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines</p></div></li></ul><p><strong>Physical Demands:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><p>Standing and walking for extended periods in manufacturing facilities&nbsp;</p></div></li><li><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><p>Manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment&nbsp;</p></div></li><li><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><p>Lifting and carrying objects up to approximately 25 pounds&nbsp;</p></div></li><li><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><p>Good visual acuity for inspecting products and reading documents&nbsp;</p></div></li><li><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><p>Effective verbal and written communication skills&nbsp;</p></div></li><li><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><p>Stamina to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks</p></div></li></ul><p>Raycap is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
