To support AVA’s expansion into additional high-value sectors and further strengthen ICAT’s capabilities, we are looking for top-tier talent to join our growing team.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p><p>We are hiring an Operations Manager NYC to manage day-to-day secure logistics operations across the New York region, with direct oversight of cash processing activities in the Americas region.</p><p>This role is responsible for operational execution, team leadership, third party partner oversight, and customer service excellence in a high security, high value logistics environment.</p><p>This is a hands-on leadership position with daily involvement in both shipment management and cash processing operations.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Be Responsible For</strong></p><p>· Oversee end to end international shipments from collection through final delivery</p><p>· Book and coordinate services with CIT providers, brokers, airlines, and logistics partners</p><p>· Ensure all shipment documentation, contracts, and compliance requirements are completed prior to movement</p><p>· Maintain accurate data entry and shipment tracking in CargoWise</p><p>· Manage third party cash processing partners in the NY area, ensuring compliance with security standards and SLAs</p><p>· Maintain hands on daily involvement in cash processing activities across New York and New Jersey</p><p>· Monitor reconciliation, balancing controls, and operational integrity</p><p>· Proactively resolve operational issues and lead escalation management when required</p><p>· Supervise and develop operations team members</p><p>· Manage workload, productivity, and service standards</p><p>· Support the sales team with quotations, job creation, cost control, and timely invoicing</p><p>· Build strong vendor relationships and identify new regional partners</p><p>· Ensure adherence to company policies, security protocols, and Standard Operating Procedures</p><p>· Prepare operational reports and contribute to process improvement initiatives</p><p>· Drive strong governance around daily balancing, discrepancy resolution, and exception management, ensuring rapid investigation and closure of variances.</p><p>· Deliver excellent customer service by promoting a professional, positive, and proactive communication style within the team and with external partners. Serve as a role model and brand ambassador for the company.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p><p>· 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics or shipping operations with team supervision responsibility</p><p>· Experience in secure logistics and cash processing is strongly preferred</p><p>· Proven ability to lead and motivate a team while remaining hands on</p><p>· Strong working knowledge of freight forwarding systems such as CargoWise</p><p>· Proficiency in Microsoft Office</p><p>· Strong organizational, time management, and problem solving skills</p><p>· Fluent English. Spanish or Portuguese is an advantage</p><p>· Willingness to travel within the New York and New Jersey area, with limited international travel</p><p><br></p><p>Salary Range: Competitive starting salary from $80,000</p><p>Travel: Travel to Woodside, NY 2-3 days per week</p><p><br></p>",
