    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>.</p><p>Team Support</p><p><strong>DMNC - Blow Molding, Dept. 300</strong></p><p>Core Hours: &nbsp;11:00 PM - 7:00 AM</p><p>Pay: $21.52 plus $1.50 shift differential</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><i><strong>** A RESUME IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.</strong></i></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Position Summary:</u></strong> This position is responsible for ensuring that the department has all of the materials necessary to run production. This includes taking an inventory of the necessary materials, tools and equipment and ensuring that they are available in accordance with production schedules. Initiates and supports changeovers and relieves Associates on the line when required.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><strong><u>&nbsp;</u></strong></span></p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> Verifies proper work procedures are being followed.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> Supplies all materials necessary for production using the Kanban system.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> Replaces Associates on the line when required.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> Performs changeovers and ensures that workstations have the proper parts, work instructions and supplies necessary to meet daily requirements.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> Monitors line activity and production output to ensure that the line is running in accordance to the daily plan. Any equipment problems, manpower concerns or abnormal conditions in product must be communicated to the Team Leader.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> Responsible for basic troubleshooting, repair of production equipment and fabrication of process support materials.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> Acts as a mentor and trains new Associates to all quality and production requirements. Retrains current Associates on any process changes.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> Ensures Associates are operating in a safe manner.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> Ensures compliance with all IATF-16949 requirements. Performs layered process audits.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> Reviews tie-in sheets with the following shift.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> Continuously looks for opportunities for improvement and participates in Kaizen and EF activities. <span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> Supports other members of the department as necessary and works to improve 5S conditions.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> Supports required TPM activities.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> Performs rework, as necessary.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Quality / Environmental Roles and Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> Follows all procedures and work instructions and make recommendations to improve the process. Notifies Leader immediately upon detecting any non-conformances.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> Records all non-conformances to ensure corrective action and preventative measures are taken and assist in the problem solving process.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> Communicates and practices DMNC’s Quality and Environmental Management Systems. Takes an active role in achieving and maintaining IATF-16949 and ISO-14001.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Knowledge, Skills and Education Required:</u></strong></p><p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> High School diploma or equivalent.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> Some vocational training or equivalent experience required for minor machine repairs.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively with others.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> Knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control) and basic measuring devices.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\"><span>·</span></span> Basic fabricating skills and operation of hand tools</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Working Conditions:</u></strong></p><p>Manufacturing environment. Automated machinery. Safety glasses and shoes required. Position requires standing, walking and may be required to move, lift or carry objects weighing up to 35 lbs.</p>",
