Our engineering team embraces modern, AI-assisted development workflows to deliver high-quality software faster without compromising safety, security, or reliability.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>As a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Senior Software Engineer</span>, you will help design, build, and maintain high-impact front-end and back-end systems while using AI co-pilot tooling as a core part of your daily workflow. You will own end-to-end feature delivery across our React/Remix + TypeScript front end and NestJS/AWS microservices back end, while helping shape how AI is used across the engineering team to improve velocity, quality, and consistency.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This is a 100% remote role based in Australia, working closely with teams in AU time zones.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Main Responsibilities:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, build, and ship high-impact features across React/Remix front-end applications and NestJS/Node.js back-end services.</li>\n<li>Develop and maintain secure, scalable REST and GraphQL APIs and microservices deployed on AWS.</li>\n<li>Own features end-to-end, from design and implementation through to production release and ongoing optimisation.</li>\n<li>Use AI co-pilot tools (e.g. Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf) for code generation, refactoring, test creation, and documentation.</li>\n<li>Develop and share effective prompt patterns and AI best practices to improve team productivity and code quality.</li>\n<li>Validate and secure AI-assisted code through testing, reviews, and static analysis.</li>\n<li>Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright/Cypress).</li>\n<li>Contribute to CI/CD pipelines with automated quality gates, security scanning, and rollback strategies.</li>\n<li>Mentor engineers on strong engineering fundamentals and effective AI-driven development workflows.</li>\n<li>Stay current with emerging AI tools and identify opportunities to improve delivery through AI-enabled solutions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">5–7+ years</span> of professional software engineering experience, with strong full-stack capability.</li>\n<li>Advanced experience with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">React</span>, <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">TypeScript</span>, and modern frameworks such as <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Remix</span> or Vite.</li>\n<li>Strong back-end experience with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Node.js/NestJS</span> and microservice architectures.</li>\n<li>Hands-on, daily use of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">AI co-pilot tools</span> (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf or similar). Proven ability to validate, test, and secure AI-assisted code.</li>\n<li>Solid experience with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">AWS</span> (ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).</li>\n<li>Experience building and maintaining <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">CI/CD pipelines</span> (GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines).</li>\n<li>A production mindset with a strong focus on maintainability, security, and scalability.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in mentoring others.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Based in Australia</span> and able to collaborate effectively across AU time zones.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>If you’re excited to combine solid engineering practices with AI-assisted workflows, and to use that capability to help prevent workplace fatalities, we’d love to hear from you.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role is 100% remote but must be based in Australia.</p>",
