This role sits at the intersection of applied AI, backend engineering, and product development, and is ideal for someone who thrives on turning ideas into production-ready intelligent systems.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build and deliver AI-powered features based on functional and technical requirements provided by TPMs and Principal AI Engineers</li>\n<li>Develop end-to-end AI solutions, including backend services, APIs, and application-layer integrations</li>\n<li>Integrate large language models (LLMs) into production systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability</li>\n<li>Design, test, and optimize prompts to improve output quality and consistency</li>\n<li>Collaborate with ML Engineers to embed models trained or fine-tuned on proprietary data into applications</li>\n<li>Participate in model evaluation and validation, ensuring outputs meet quality, accuracy, and performance benchmarks</li>\n<li>Support testing and deployment of AI features through CI/CD pipelines</li>\n<li>Troubleshoot and refine AI behaviours in real-world production scenarios.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend development (Python preferred)</li>\n<li>Hands-on experience working with large language models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source LLMs)</li>\n<li>Experience designing and integrating APIs and microservices</li>\n<li>Familiarity with prompt engineering and LLM optimization techniques</li>\n<li>Understanding of model evaluation frameworks and performance metrics</li>\n<li>Experience working with ML Engineers or deploying ML models into production environments</li>\n<li>Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices</li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Nice-to-Have</span></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)</li>\n<li>Exposure to fine-tuning models or working with proprietary datasets</li>\n<li>Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)</li>\n<li>Experience building scalable AI/ML systems in production</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Blanc Labs is enabling a digital future.
