By working collaboratively with partners and continually innovating, JVH strives to be a leader in providing essential healthcare for the underserved, ensuring everyone in our community has access to quality healthcare.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>The Sterilization Technician is responsible for keeping dental instruments clean, sanitized, organized and ready for use.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Familiar with and follows OSHA standards.</li><li>Ensures that instruments are sterilized as soon as feasible as they are brought into central sterilization.</li><li>Maintains the cleanliness and order of all areas of sterilization.</li><li>Keeps accurate logs of spore testing.</li><li>Uses the system in place to monitor and track the instruments through sterilization.</li><li>Keeps the dental director apprised of any issues or concerns with equipment, supplies or procedures related to sterilization.</li><li>Is responsive to special requests or needs of the providers with regard to instruments and handpieces.</li><li>All other duties as assigned.</li></ul><align-left><strong>Benefits Overview:</strong></align-left><ul><li><strong>Medical and Prescription Drug Coverage:</strong> Three comprehensive plan options (Buy-up, Base, and High Deductible) through UnitedHealthcare's Choice Plus network, covering various deductibles and out-of-pocket limits.
