    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><strong>JOB SUMMARY</strong>:</p><p>&nbsp;Program, Setup, and Operate a CNC Horizontal Milling Center to perform one or more machining functions on metal work pieces while maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping accurate records and maintaining equipment and supplies.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES&nbsp;</strong>include the following:</p><ul><li>Ability to Program, Setup, Operate, &amp; Run a CNC Horizontal Milling Center through the use of Mazatrol, Celos, G and M codes, or other conversational controls from a drawing which includes a solid understanding of GD&amp;T. Mazatrol 640M,Mazatrol Smooth, or Celos experience preferred</li><li>Measure &nbsp; dimensions of &nbsp;finished &nbsp;workpieces &nbsp;to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.</li><li>Measure and adjust the machine tool or tooling according to product specifications, using gauges and hand tools.</li></ul><p>&middot; Examine completed workpieces for defects, such as chipped edges or marred surfaces and sort defective pieces according to types of flaws.</p><p>&middot; Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments fixtures, and workpieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.</p><p>&middot; Stop machines to remove finished workpieces or to change tooling, setup, or workpiece placement, according to required machining sequences.</p><p>&middot; Transfer commands from servers to computer numerical control (CNC) modules, using computer network links.</p><p>&middot; Check to ensure that workpieces are properly lubricated and cooled during machine operation.</p><p>&middot; Start machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data.</p><p>&middot; Set up, make offset, program adjustments, &amp; operate computer-controlled machines to&nbsp;perform one or more machine functions on metal workpieces.</p><p>&middot; Insert control instructions into machine control units to start operation.</p><p>&middot; Review program specifications or blueprints to determine and set machine operations and sequencing, finished workpiece dimensions or numerical control sequences.</p><p>&middot; Listen to machines during operation to detect sounds such as those made by dull cutting tools or excessive vibration and adjust machine or replace tooling to compensate for problems.</p><p>&middot; Remove and replace dull cutting tools.</p><p>&nbsp;<em>Additional responsibilities and&nbsp;duties&nbsp;may be assigned</em></p><p><em>&nbsp;</em><strong>K</strong><strong>N</strong><strong>OWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:&nbsp;</strong>Minimal requirements for education, knowledge and experience:</p><p>&middot; Mechanical &mdash; Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.</p><p>&middot; Stays current with job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and studying technical publications.</p><p>&middot; Production and Processing &mdash; Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.</p><p>&middot; Mathematics &mdash; Knowledge of trigonometry, algebra, geometry and their applications</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:</strong></p><p>&middot; Control Precision &mdash; The ability to adjust the controls of a machine to exact positions.</p><p>&middot; Reaction Time &mdash; The ability to quickly respond (with the hand, finger, or foot) to a signal</p><p>(sound, light, picture)&nbsp;when&nbsp;it&nbsp;appears.</p><p>&middot; Problem Sensitivity &mdash; The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.</p><p>&middot; Manual Dexterity &mdash; The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.</p><p>&middot; Near Vision &mdash; The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).</p><p>&middot; Rate Control &mdash; The ability to time your movements or the movement of a piece of equipment in anticipation of changes in the speed and/or direction of a moving object or scene.</p><p>&middot; Arm-Hand Steadiness &mdash; The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.</p><p>&middot; Deductive Reasoning &mdash; The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.</p><p>&middot; Perceptual Speed &mdash; The ability to quickly and accurately compare similarities and differences among sets of letters, numbers, objects, pictures, or patterns.
