The QISG team brings together Engineering, Safety, Quality, Material Procurement, QA/QC, Right-of-Way Acquisition, Scheduling, Environmental Planning, Permitting, Title and Land Management expertise that ensure outstanding results for our clients.</p>\n<h2>About this Role</h2>\n<p><strong>Sourcing Specialist</strong>Onsite: M-F - 392 County Road 50 Avon, MN 56310</p>\n<p>EnergyLink, a Quanta company, is seeking a <strong>Sourcing Specialist</strong> to drive the success of our<strong> Transmission, Substation, and Distribution (T&D) EPC projects.</strong> In this role, you’ll partner with internal teams and top-tier vendors to run the full sourcing lifecycle—launching competitive bids and RFPs, analyzing commercial proposals, and securing smart, cost-effective deals.</p>\n<p>T&D/Utility experience is strongly preferred.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Engineering/Procurement/Construction (EPC) experience outside of this sector will be considered depending on the industry.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Lead and manage large material and equipment bids for T&D EPC projects.</p></li>\n <li><p>Review client RFPs and engineering designs to identify gaps, document requirements (e.g., MBE/WBE, Buy American), and define scopes of work.</p></li>\n <li><p>Validate materials and quantities from engineering drawings; organize and issue bid packages.</p></li>\n <li><p>Build bidder lists with Supply Chain/project input; solicit vendor pre-qualification info.</p></li>\n <li><p>Manage vendor quotes/proposals in compliance with internal policies.</p></li>\n <li><p>Evaluate bids, analyze proposals and contracts, manage negotiations, and present vendor recommendations.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ensure accuracy of material estimates and meet project deadlines.</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>3-10+ years sourcing or procurement experience for power generation or electric utility projects - or Engineering/Procurement/Construction (EPC) industry. </li>\n <li><p>Proven experience in vendor management, RFP solicitation and response, tender evaluation, commercial risk analysis, contract review, pricing negotiations, and quotations.</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong T&D material knowledge (overhead and underground) and familiarity with substation equipment (breakers, capacitor banks, etc.).</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience in EPC projects, material sourcing, procurement, or estimating is preferred.</p></li>\n <li><p>Established vendor and manufacturer relationships in the utility industry are a plus.</p></li>\n <li><p>Self-starter with excellent attention to detail, communication, and time management skills.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.</p></li>\n <li><p>Travel up to 10% may be required.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Get</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Competitive base salary</strong></p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Generous PTO & paid holidays</strong> to maintain work-life balance</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>401(k) with a generous match</strong> to plan for your future</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Comprehensive benefits</strong> – medical, dental, vision, and life insurance</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Weekly pay</strong> for consistent, reliable compensation</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Great mentoring & career growth opportunities</strong> – we invest in your development#LI-SM1 </p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation Range</h2>The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $62,923.00/Yr. - USD $125,000.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>\n<p>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity), age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and/or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
