Join us in making a real difference in the health of our community.</em></p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Podiatry Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in delivering comprehensive Podiatry care to patients, working closely with an interdisciplinary team in both long-term care and acute settings.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients while growing professionally within a supportive, mission-driven environment.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>• Provide podiatric consults for residents in long-term care facilities </p>\n<p>• Assess and manage foot and ankle conditions including diabetic foot complications, ulcers, nail disorders, and infections </p>\n<p>• Perform nail care, callus reduction, and minor procedures when appropriate </p>\n<p>• Evaluate gait issues and foot deformities affecting mobility </p>\n<p>• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to prevent falls and foot complications </p>\n<p>• Educate residents and caregivers on foot hygiene and preventative care </p>\n<p>• Document findings and treatments in EMRs in compliance with regulations</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility (Hospital/outpatient office experience will also be considered) </p>\n<p>• Active and unrestricted NP license • DEA license required • CPR certification (BCLS/BLS) </p>\n<p>• Master’s degree in Nursing (NP applicants) </p>\n<p>• Graduation from an accredited NP program </p>\n<p>• Preferred: Experience in Podiatry (training available if not) </p>\n<p>• Preferred: Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Sigma, Visual, PCC – training provided) </p>\n<p>• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills</p>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>\n<p><strong><em>Essen Health care is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically diverse population.</em></strong></p>",
