We are seeking an individual with a modern skillset and excellent communication skills that will thrive in a team-oriented environment. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our facility is equipped with a Varian ecosystem, including three linear accelerators, Bravos HDR, Eclipse and Elements TPS with Radformation products, and a comprehensive set Sun Nuclear QA equipment. You’ll join a supportive team of 4 physicists, 5 dosimetrists, and 3 radiation oncologists working together to deliver cutting-edge treatments with compassion and precision. We prioritize a healthy work-life balance and offer flexible hybrid work options for appropriate clinical responsibilities.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Clinical Equipment & Software</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Linear Accelerators: Varian TrueBeam with Identify, Edge with ExacTrac Dynamic, and Novalis Tx (to be replaced by Ethos) all with Portal Dosimetry</li>\n <li>Brachytherapy: Varian Bravos HDR </li>\n <li>Treatment Planning: Eclipse (including RapidPlan, MCO, HyperArc) with Radformation tools (ClearCheck, AutoContour, ClearCalc, EZ Fluence) and Brainlab Elements </li>\n <li>QA Tools: Portal Dosimetry and Sun Nuclear (SunCHECK, IC Profiler, ArcCHECK, SRS MapCHECK, Daily QA3, 1D/3D scanners, etc.)</li>\n <li>Oncology Information System: Aria and Epic</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Responsibilities</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide clinical physics support for external beam and brachytherapy services, including SBRT, SRS, and gynecologic HDR</li>\n <li>Perform and document quality assurance for linacs, HDR, and imaging systems in accordance with AAPM guidelines (e.g., TG-51, MPPG 8.b, etc.)</li>\n <li>Collaborate with dosimetrists and oncologists to support treatment planning and delivery workflows</li>\n <li>Conduct weekly chart reviews, initial plan checks, and end-of-treatment reviews </li>\n <li>Support commissioning, protocol development, and process improvement projects</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>M.S. or Ph.D. in Medical Physics or closely related field</li>\n <li>Must possess and maintain current State of Florida Therapeutic Radiological Physicist License</li>\n <li>ABR board certification in Therapeutic Medical Physics (or Board Eligible)</li>\n <li>Prior clinical experience in a modern Varian environment preferred</li>\n <li>Expertise with Aria, Eclipse, and TrueBeam platform is highly desirable</li>\n <li>Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>What you will LOVE about TMH:</em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Exceptional company culture</li>\n <li>Great work/ life balance</li>\n <li>Community oriented</li>\n <li>Great benefits for you and your loved ones</li>\n <li>Invest in your future – 403(b) & 401(a) plan with remarkable contribution from TMH</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why Choose Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare?</strong></p>\n<p>Designated to meet the diverse health care needs of the Big Bend region, Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) is a private, not- for- profit health care system and the regions only Level II trauma center serving 17 counties in North Florida and South Georgia.
