An ideal candidate will have significant prior experience providing financial support in a NAVSEA environment and strong proficiency with financial roles in the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (Navy ERP) tool.<br><br><strong>Typical responsibilities include:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop, update, and maintain project management plans, tasking documentation, and cost estimates.</li><li>Analyze forecasted budgets against project objectives, requirements, cost, schedule, technical risks, and identify unfunded efforts.</li><li>Support development and refinement of Code 34 Department business processes.</li><li>Enter and maintain project planning data and structures in Navy ERP or other NAVSEA Warfare Center Financial Information Systems.</li><li>Provide impact analysis for Program Budgets and Project Plan baselines.</li><li>Review and analyze project requirements, schedules, and execution plans.</li><li>Extract and analyze financial data to monitor project and organizational financial execution.</li><li>Provide financial management reports and data summaries via ERP and EDW reports.</li><li>Prepare monthly expenditure reports.</li><li>Provide financial management support for Code 34 Submarine Antenna Test Range SCC operations.</li><li>Prepare funding acceptance documentation.</li><li>Prepare project milestone documentation, briefs, and reports for Government review.</li><li>Prepare technical documentation, graphics, briefs, roadmaps, and reports.</li><li>Attend meetings to capture action items, generate minutes, and compile information for Sponsor meetings and reviews. Support meeting coordination, agenda development, action items, and presentation materials.</li><li>Prepare, update, and maintain department briefs and presentations, including overviews and one-on-one presentations.</li></ul><br><strong>Location: </strong>Full time onsite at Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in Newport, RI. <br><br><strong>Typical Physical Activity: </strong>Primarily desk/computer work in an office environment. May involve: repetitive motion.<br><br><strong>Typical Pay Range: </strong>The anticipated pay for this position in the identified location(s) is $65,000 – 75,600/year. Actual compensation offered will be based upon individual factors including education, qualifications, and experience.<br><br><strong>Existing SECRET Security Clearance Required: </strong>This position requires an existing active or interim Secret security clearance prior to hire. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance; therefore, only current U.S. citizens will be considered for this position.
