    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Responsible for providing general direct and indirect patient care in a clinical setting under the direct supervision of a physician. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure functionality of practice operations to provide excellent patient care. Ensures medical facilities run smoothly, and works in a clerical, administrative, or clinical capacity, and may even be asked to perform more specialized tasks.</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Travel to Atlantic Vascular Morristown location - variable for training/coverage</li><li>Must be willing to work between 7:45 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday.</li><li>Must be willing to travel to between Centrastate-Atlantic Vascular locations - Freehold and Old Bridge.<br><br><br><strong><u>Principal Accountabilities:</u></strong><br>&nbsp;</li><li>Handles patient intake, updates medical records, and administers appropriate screening tools.</li><li>Records medical information and test results, conducts patient interviews, takes and records vital signs, collects specimens, and administers medication under physician supervision.</li><li>Assists with walk-in and scheduled clinic visits, ensures verification and recording of clinical data and adherence to quality standards.</li><li>Guides patients through the health care system and helps patients arrive at scheduled appointments on time.</li><li>Taking vital signs: Typically performed before a patient sees a doctor to establish a baseline for future exams&nbsp;</li><li>Assisting with examinations: Working closely with physicians to perform clinical tasks&nbsp;</li><li>Collecting and preparing laboratory samples: Instructing patients on how to collect samples or drawing blood&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent Communication, Work Ethic, Active Listening, Adaptability to working in fast-paced environment, and hold upmost professionalism at all times.
