Description

Future Tech Enterprise, Inc. is looking to hire a Level 1 Technician to provide deskside IT support to our customer. This is a full-time, on-site position, in Valley Stream, NY - Long Island.  Work hours are from 8:30a -4:00p, M-F. Our benefits include: Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401k with company match and PTO. What You’ll Do: Address support tickets in the ticketing system Provide technical support to school staff and students Support and troubleshoot Windows desktops and laptops Troubleshoot, optimize, and reimage Chromebooks Install and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and projectors Work collaboratively with other technicians and IT staff to maintain documentation Prioritize daily activities based on ticket urgency and administrative requests Assist with additional IT-related tasks and projects as needed What You Bring: 1–3 years of technical support experience (deskside preferred) 2+ years of customer service experience Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Chrome OS Experience using a ticketing system to manage support issues Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle (local travel required) CompTIA A+ certification preferred Experience working in an education environment is a plus About Us: Future Tech Enterprise, Inc. is a recognized leader in delivering enterprise IT solutions and services to commercial, federal, and global clients.
