Bikers wanted!  Bike patrollers needed to monitor the safety of Steamboat Ski &amp; Resort Co., while providing our legendary guest service.  Must have valid/current Outdoor Emergency Care, Wilderness First Responder or EMT; CPR also required.</span></p><p></p><p>Work bikes are NOT provided – you must be able to provide your own mountain bike.</p><p></p><p>Pay incentives available for those candidates possessing certification in both the medical and instructional arenas</p><p></p><p><b>ESSENTIAL DUTIES</b></p><ul><li><p>Primary duty to patrol, monitor, and maintain all trails and signage within the Mt. Werner network, enforcing ticketing and safety rules</p></li><li><p>Maintain first-aid supply bags, administer first-aid when necessary</p></li><li><p>Document incidents requiring first-aid</p></li><li><p>Communicate effectively with team and operational partners to ensure the highest levels of safety and efficiency</p></li><li><p>Provide information and assistance to the guest when needed</p></li><li><p>Assist with transportation of guests via ATV, van or truck</p></li><li><p>Assist Instructor team with lesson operations, teach lessons if certified to teach and demand requires</p></li><li><p>Attendance at designated meeting times on days scheduled to work</p></li><li><p>Trail maintenance as required on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.  Experience using shovels, saws, hammers, and other common trail work and construction tools preferred.</p></li><li><p>Attend required orientation and training sessions</p></li><li><p>Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements</p></li><li><p>Other duties as assigned</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</b></p><ul><li><p>Previous patrol experience, preferred</p></li><li><p>Read and write in the English language; Spanish a plus</p></li><li><p>Must have a valid driver&#39;s license and meet insurability standards</p></li><li><p>Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski &amp; Resort Corp Service Excellence standards</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS</b></p><ul><li><p>High school education or GED strongly preferred</p></li><li><p>Valid/current Outdoor Emergency Care, Wilderness First Responder or EMT; CPR required</p></li></ul><p></p><p>The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski &amp; Resort Corporation’s hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski &amp; Resort Corporation’s total compensation package for employees.
