Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Global Product Line Manager for V-Belt sits at the center of one of Gates’ most strategically critical portfolios—shaping how we compete, invest, and win in core and emerging markets worldwide. This role goes beyond managing products; it defines the future direction of the V-Belt business, balancing innovation, manufacturability, and global scale to deliver sustainable growth and industry leadership. If you thrive in roles where commercial strategy, technical depth, and global execution collide—and where your decisions materially impact the business—this role was built for you. Set and Steward the Global Product Line Strategy and Long-Term Product Roadmap, Investment Priorities, and Lifecycle Decisions from Incubation through Sunset to deliver Profitable, Sustainable growth and delivering aggressive New Product Vitality Goals. Accountable for P&L performance, driving Revenue Growth, Pricing Discipline, Margin Expansion across Global Markets. Identify, Justify, and Prioritize Investments that Enable Organic Growth, New Product Launches, and Long-Term Strategic Initiatives. Serve as the Business and Product Leader for Global New Product Development Initiatives, Lead Cross-Functional Teams that Deliver Innovative End-User Solutions with Compelling Value-Propositions yet remain true to our brand. Lead global commercialization and product launches, ensuring teams are enabled and new offerings land with impact across regions and channels. Leverage strong Manufacturing and Engineering fluency to align product strategy with scalable, competitive production systems. Transform Voice of Customer, competitive intelligence, and market insight into decisive portfolio actions. Act as the integrator across sales, operations, and engineering to align demand, manufacturability, and supply. Career Impact: This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and is designed for product leaders seeking broader enterprise impact and future progression into senior product or general management roles. Requirements and Preferred Skills Required Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field. 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Technical Sales, Application or Product Engineering, or related roles. Strong Business Acumen, Communication Skills, and Ability to Influence Cross‑Functionally. Willingness to travel up to 25%, including occasional International Travel. Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Preferred Experience with B2B Industrial and/or Consumer Durable Products and/or Components. Global Product Management or Market Experience. Exposure to Stage‑Gate or Structured NPD Processes. Demonstrable Track Record Leading Disruptively Innovative New Products Experience with Structured Methodical Insight Collection Processes PAY & BENEFITS Full-Time Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 Bonus Eligible Relocation is not provided Medical, Dental, Vision insurance and other voluntary benefit options: benefits begin on the first day of the month immediately following your date of hire Eligible for 3 weeks of paid vacation + 11 holidays (9 scheduled & 2 floating) + 8 sick days. All vacation days are accrued 401(k): 3% company contribution and additional 3% company match Tuition Reimbursement WHY GATES?
